Stricken by an incurable inability to hit the curveball, Ian Harrison turned his unerring ability to spell long words and determine earned-run averages into a career as a sportswriter, interning at Sports Illustrated in his final year of university. He started covering the Blue Jays in 2002 and is now the Toronto-based reporter for The Associated Press, writing about baseball, basketball and soccer. A passionate cycling fan, he compensates for his truly heroic intake of sushi by going for lengthy rides on his road bike.
