The fascination with Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House and Philip Johnson's Glass House continues with Modern Views, a large-scale project aimed at raising funds for the icons of American architecture. One hundred of the world's top architects, artists and designers have contributed their work to a collection, which is being sold by Sotheby's on October 6 in New York. Participants were asked to create and donate a drawing, sculpture, painting or other artwork, accompanied by a short statement that captures how these two iconic buildings inspire their work.
