TORONTO OUTDOOR ART EXHIBITION

Every summmer, artists flock to Nathan Phillips Square near City Hall in Toronto to showcase their work in North America's largest outdoor art exhibition. The combination of casual atmosphere and (hopefully) sunny weather makes the experience enjoyable for tourist passersby and dedicated art lovers alike. Best of all, the artists' booths display work that's first-rate, like the paintings of Dave Hind (who won Best in Show in 2009) and those of Benjamin Rathbone, whose Portrait of Jerald Shwab is shown above. This photo gallery shows eight other works, each currently showing at an exhibit of award winners at the First Canadian Place in Toronto.
