ZERO 2 ONE HUNDRED

The Mitsubishi RVR line-up includes a front-wheel-drive model with a 5-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel-drive iteration with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). While this compact crossover cuts a fairly dashing figure, its performance is not as inspiring. The manual transmission is more engaging than the moribund CVT, but Mitsubishi does all-wheel-drive systems well, so identifying the go-to version is a tough choice.
The handling is reasonable, the braking system is capable and the driving experience overall is not disagreeable. Ultimately, though, the RVR seems to be the work of a manufacturer that is merely treading water in this segment.
