PHOTO OF THE DAY

The first quintuplets known to survive infancy, Canada's Dionne girls — Yvonne, Annette, Cecile, Emilie, Marie — captivated the world. The quintuplets were born outside of Callander, near the village of Corbeil, Ontario, to Elzire and father Oliva, who already had five children when the girls came into the world on May 28, 1934.
