PHOTO OF THE DAY

Sir Robert Borden, the eighth Prime Minister of Canada, held office from October 10, 1911 to July 10, 1920. Borden, born and raised in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, was the last PM before Confederation. He governed Canada during the First World War through the Conscription Crisis of 1917 and oversaw the introduction of income tax. So if you're stressing this month's deadline, you have Borden to thank.
