A night out on the town was the inspiration for the TORO Woman photo shoot with the pop band Queen of Hearts. "Welcome to the life of a queen times three," says Alesandra Nicole in this behind-the-scenes footage, while riding in a limo.

On a sunny winter day that felt like spring, the girl group Queen of Hearts dropped by the TORO office. Queen of Hearts is Nikole Gabriel, Alesandra Nicole and Sasha Rodriguo – a trio of petite, attractive young women with the ability to hold court on everything from fast food (McDonald’s edges Harvey’s) to the pressures of fame (they feel for the “exhausted” Lady Gaga) to the changing face of the music business (it’s all about hit singles).

Canadian actress Meghan Heffern brought out her playful side on the set of her TORO Woman photo shoot. "Today's shoot was a nice mixture of carnival meets burlesque meets vintage and really beautiful colours," says photographer Franco Deleo about the experience, which included Heffern – in hot pants, naturally – swinging a hula hoop with sass.

Meghan Heffern always knew that she wanted to be an actress – even at age 14, back when she was “bored out of her mind” and living in a small town outside of Edmonton. But could she have dreamed, just over a decade later, that she’d be sitting at a read-through opposite Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore?

The Canadian actress shares screen time with Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore in Atom Egoyan's film Chloe, and she has lots of other projects on the go, like Spike TV's Blue Mountain State and horror flick The Shine. She looks downright sexy in front of the lens of photographer Franco Deleo, and even though stockings and hot shorts might not influence directors, they will influence us!

TORO returns to the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, where Erin English posed in bikinis under the setting sun. The rock formations at the peninsula's southernmost tip were a perfect backdrop for the glamorous pictures. "She decided to use some of her dance background," says art director Giancarlo Intini about English's movements and sexy looks.

Erin Rose Elizabeth English is tinier than you might imagine, but with a larger-than-life personality. “I’m very much a Scorpio,” she says. I suggest that she’s gentler than most Scorpios. “Well, there’s a line for me,” she explains. “Also, you’ve never done anything bad to me.” True. But I’d rather meet her in a dark alley than fellow Scorpios George S. Patton, Joseph McCarthy, Ike Turner or Lou Ferrigno. 

TORO visited sunny Los Cabos, Mexico, where the sandy beaches were the perfect backdrop for this bikini shoot with Erin English. A horse was even corralled into the act, which added some dramatic flare to the series of pictures by photographer Phil Brideaux.

TORO takes you backstage at our moody photo shoot with striking Canadian actress Charlotte Sullivan. She shared the screen with Woody Harrelson in the superhero comedy Defendor. Photographer Franco Deleo has high praise for her talents, saying that she took on a "character that was so strong consistently throughout the whole set ... so talented, such a great actress."
